IT Telecom – RovJet 605
Canadian subsea telecom cable installation and maintenance using the RovJet 605 system. Scope included deep-water route survey, cable lay, post-lay burial, and emergency repair readiness. Seatec supplied offshore project engineering, pilot/technician teams, and 24/7 operations support from 2024 onwards.
Pipeline Trenching
Pharos Offshore – SMD Q800 Trencher
Deployment of the SMD Q800 jet-trencher off Sicily for the burial of subsea pipelines. Our team handled mobilization, ROV integration, real-time trenching control, and post-installation survey ensuring specification compliance and minimal seabed impact.
Pre-lay Route Survey
Argeo – Kongsberg Hugin Astral AUV
High-resolution pre-lay route surveys for offshore pipeline corridor in Brazil using autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs). Delivered bathymetric, geophysical and environmental data to optimize cable and pipeline design, reducing installation risk and cost.
Research & Salvage
Pelagic Research Services – Odyssius ROV
Provided deep-water ROV operations for archeological and salvage work in the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. Tasks included artifact recovery, wreck site mapping, biological sampling, and live video transmission for onshore research teams.
Shipwreck Recovery
Deep Ocean Search – SS City of Cairo
Assisted in the deepwater recovery of precious metals from the WWII shipwreck “SS City of Cairo” at ~5,000 m depth. Managed heavy-lift ROV tooling, survey sensors, and safe recovery protocols under extreme conditions.
ROV & Scientific Support
Nautilus Live – Benthic Crawler “Wally”
Support for benthic crawler “Wally” and Nautilus ROV operations at deep-sea observatories. Integrated environmental sensors, managed fiber-optic umbilicals, and provided 24/7 subsea engineering during live broadcasts to the public.
Extreme Environments
Hydrothermal Vents Exploration
Deep-sea exploration of hydrothermal vent systems using advanced ROVs and sampling equipment. Collected geochemical and biological samples at depths over 3,000 m, contributing to research on chemosynthetic ecosystems.
Offshore Oil & Gas
Oceaneering – Petrobras Subsea Robotics Contract
Multi-year support contract supplying ROV pilots and subsea engineers for Petrobras operations. Provided intervention tooling, subsea metrology, and emergency response teams across multiple deepwater assets offshore Brazil.

Nauticus Robotics & Advanced Ocean Systems – MSA

Pipeline Route Survey – North Sea

Autonomous Environmental Survey – Norwegian Fjords
